Doug is Of Counsel at Feltman Ewing. His practice consists of personal injury, nursing home litigation, product liability, and sexual abuse. Doug grew up in Illinois and received his B.A. from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, in 1971; his law degree from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 1974; and an M.F.A. in film production from the University of Southern California in 1982. Doug is licensed to practice law in Washington, California and Pennsylvania. Outside of the office, Doug enjoys road bicycling and target shooting.
Doug served for many years on the Board of Governors of the Washington State Trial Lawyers’ Association including a term as vice president and terms on the executive committee. He received their prestigious Public Justice Award in 2011. Doug has a 10 rating on Avvo.com, and was cited in 2017 Spokane Coeur d’Alene Living Magazine as one of Spokane’s Top Attorneys. Doug has served on the Board of Governors of numerous non-profit charitable entities and was the incorporator/co-founder of “Heal the Bay” in Los Angeles and co-founder of “Cup of Cool Water” in Spokane.
